The event, which was attended by the Austrian Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Donatus Köck, Rector of Graz University of Technology (GUT), Austria, Rector of UTP; Datuk Dr Zainal Abidin bin Hj Kasim and senior officials from GUT, PETRONAS Research and Technology Division and UTP, took place today at the campus in Bandar Seri Iskandar.

The formalisation of alliance between these two leading institutions of higher learning has paved the way for further meaningful collaboration between them which amongst others extends to the following areas:

(i) Staff Development Programme

(ii) Undergraduate Student Exchange Programme

(iii) Postgraduate Student Exchange Programme

(iv) Joint Research and Development Activities

(v) Joint Academic and Scientific Activities

(vi) Exchange of Information

Through this collaboration, both parties would also be able to embark on joint R&D work together with PETRONAS and BRP Rotax, one of the international leaders in the manufacturing of recreational vehicles and small aircraft engines. GUT has been BRP Rotax’s partner in the area of engine combustion research.

Graz University of Technology pursues top teaching and research in the fields of the engineering sciences and the technical-natural sciences. It offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Ultimately, the quality of the education and training at Graz University of Technology is carried by the strength of its knowledge-oriented and applied research.

Penyelidik UTP cipta biodiesel biji getah

Berita dari utusan:

TRONOH 3 Jan.

p/s: tahniah buat Tazli....teruskan usaha.
